I didnt like the Micheal Macdonald character that would always say "look what I could do". I miss "in Living Color" from the early 90s. I think they lost too many strong performers like Debra Wilson, Mo Collins and Stephnie Weir and no one was able to successfully fill their shoes.

They seemed to realize that they were going away that last season and actually had some funny moments.

Year after year people say it's not as funny as it used to be. I doubt they even get good ratings. As a sketch show airing on Saturday nights, MADtv was instantly and consistently compared to Saturday Night Live.

People who bitch the loudest about SNL are the ones who sit and watch it live on Saturday night. 0 0. MadTv, by far. I think of MADtv as the successor to SCTV. Kristen Wiig's characters were hit or miss, and SNL relies so much on the game show/talk show spoofs that they are dusty and dry.
