Also FFG are re-releasing the first edition heroes and monsters as mini expansions and those have been tweaked from the versions released in the conversion kit. I own the 1st and 2nd Editions.unless you are a collector, 1st edition is not worth it at all. Either way don't bother with 1E unless you really want to play it over second. I have played the First Edition a few time and I have loved it.

Heroquest still has the touch of a legend. I played 1st edition and I liked it. But I will wager you will rarely play with exapansion stuff, if at all unless you have a devoted group who won't get tired of unbalanced adventures. Only a small band of heroes, gifted with courage and power, will be able to save the land from the cold grip of domination.

I'm confused. It adds a lot more potential heroes and monsters into the mix but you'll have to proxy all the models. Thanks for the time and effort you guys put into this!

Descent is a board game with too many papers to read, dice, instructions, cards, and tiles. I hear mixed things about second edition (some love it, some hate it).
