Salmon croquettes. I dined here during Big Taste, and it was good. The decor was interesting and the overall atmosphere was lovely. There were not very many...other guests either. The gnocchi were extremely sweet (almost everything had an overriding sweet taste) and the cassoulet tasted more like crusted ham instead of flavourful duck, but the éclair was superb. 2. There isn't a huge amount of food here, but everything they have is incredibly delicious and you would think the buffet should be a lot more money than it is. This was our third visit to the Yellow Door for brunch. Not a great experience overall. It started by waiting 5 minutes at the door before being greeted. Yellow Door Bistro masively disappoints After some friends stated they had a good experience at the Yellow Door, we decided to give it another shot. I’m so happy I went because the server (Corey) immediately put us at ease and we started our fancy dinner. They had a set 5 course menu for $75 each. The French onion soup was amongst the worse I have ever tasted, in fact couldn't eat 3/4 of it as the flavours were off and almost acidic with an unknown sweetness, the double cooked fries were somewhat tasteless with the same sweet flavouring of the onion soup. comments when I asked him a question, (saying "Can't you see I'm busy"!
